Graduate Accountant

We are looking on behalf of our client, a well established financial services company in Gibraltar, for a Graduate Accountant. Duties include, but are not limited to: Process accounting transactions Prepare and post journals into the accounting system Process supplier invoices and payment runs Record customer receipts and allocate payments Process bank payments and perform daily bank reconciliations Reconcile pooled client accounts Reconcile company credit card statements and ensure supporting receipts are obtained Assist with month-end close procedures Respond to day-to-day finance queries from colleagues and external parties Liaise with banks, suppliers and other third parties where required Support the preparation of management reports and other financial information Required: Willingness to learn and take on new tasks under guidance and supervision Preferably a recent graduate with an accounting degree Good numerical skills Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and confidence using accounting and IT systems Good organisational skills and the ability to manage tasks to meet deadlines A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team
