Client Accountant

Our client, a well established financial services company in Gibraltar, is looking for a Client Accountant to join their team. Duties include, but are not limited to: Gather information and supporting documentation required for client accounts and tax filings in line with internal procedures Process transactions and journal entries and maintain accounting records Prepare annual accounts for a portfolio of clients, including Companies and Trusts over various jurisdictions Prepare basic tax computations and returns Assist with the processing of monthly payroll for clients, including data input and basic checks Respond to routine client queries and liaise with colleagues to ensure deadlines are met Carry out general admin tasks related to the client accounting function as required Requirements: Professionally qualified or part qualified accountant (ACCA or equivalent) Minimum 2 years’ experience Knowledge of viewpoint client accounting preferable Good numerical skills with a careful and methodical approach to work Able to work on your own initiative and within a team Organised and able to work under pressure/tight deadlines
